SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Fishing for a warrior of the sea is his tireless routine ...... the Fishing North is his personal well-being and that of the family.

Personal

PESDEL SA keeps in mind and applies the principles of human rights and professional conduct, while accepting that fishing is a dangerous occupation; in this sense, it seeks to ensure that fishermen enjoy decent working conditions on board with regard to minimum requirements necessary for work, accommodation and food, safety and health protection, living wages, workers's rights and obligations, medical care, social security, and leisure.

Safety and Health at work

One of our main priorities is to provide optimal working conditions and protect the safety and health of our people and external contractors. National and international health and safety provisions define specific conditions in workplaces in relation to the risks defined in each of them. Our suppliers comply with this principle when they respect the right of their workers to enjoy healthy working and living conditions and comply with occupational health and safety regulations, or with international standards, when national legislation is weak or incorrectly applied.

As PESDEL SA, our practices are based on the conviction that the Company must generate benefits for both itself and the community; we are aware of the important role we play when contributing to the sustainable development of fishing for future generations. Therefore, we adopt conservation practices or measures in compliance with national, regional and international regulations and practices, and we fight to develop services and procedures that are increasingly efficient so that we can minimize the impact on the marine ecosystem.
